Peter Paradise is a commercial lawyer in Australia with over two decades of experience in the legal field, and currently a founding director at Paradise Charnock Hing (formerly, Paradise Charnock O'Brien), where he specialises in infrastructure, construction and mergers and acquisitions.
Peter’s career began at a global tier-one law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, where he practised for 14 years and progressed to the role of Regional Head of Projects for Asia Pacific. In this capacity, he managed numerous significant transactions across a range of clients. Peter later went on to co-found his law firm with Geoff Charnock, with the aim of exceeding the conventional expectations of legal practice.
Peter is known for his straightforward, honest, and commercially-focused advice, which has made him a key adviser to boards and executive teams nationwide. He also serves on the board of Sydney FC, contributing significantly to the club's development and achievements.
His commitment to providing practical and well-considered legal strategies has earned him recognition from industry authorities such as Legal 500, Doyles Guide, and Chambers & Partners.
Alongside his legal career, Peter is the director and founder of Astoria Projects, a building and development company currently undertaking two boutique luxury residential apartment developments in central Brisbane. He also owns and directs Happy Paws and Ciccia.
